Building shouldn’t be a stressful process – we’ll make sure you don’t have anything to worry about. With Absolute Homes, you’ll be working with an experienced team taking a hands-on approach at every stage of your build, from concept through to completion.
1. Contact then meet us
Building a home can seem daunting, which is why we like to begin by explaining how we can help and what’s required to get started.
2. Know your numbers
You’ll need to meet with your bank to understand your budget and what you can afford.
3. We can help you find a section
If you need to find a suitable section we’ll discuss your requirements, including your budget. Whilst we love being a part of your dream from this point, Absolute Homes can also work just as well with a new build on your pre-purchased section.
4. Catch-up with our architect
We organise a meeting with Absolute Homes’ architect to ensure we capture your requirements and maximise your aspirations, without blowing your budget. This is where it starts to get really exciting – for all of us!
5. Lunch on us
We catch-up over coffee/lunch to go over the plans, discuss the final costs and answer any other questions you may have, or any changes you wish to make. Absolute Homes also offer you a guaranteed move-in date before you sign with us.
6. Insurance Cover
We have full insurance in place to cover both business and contracts works – providing further peace of mind for you and Absolute Homes.
7. Master Build Contract & Section Settled
Absolute Homes compiles a Master Build contract based on our confirmed discussion – including plans, dates and costs. We’ll work with you to settle on your section, then to move forward, we’ll request a 10% deposit.
8. Things get official!
Absolute Homes submits your concept new build plan to council for consent.
9. Consent issued & build begins
Our team of carpenters begin the build and bear in mind you have a guaranteed move-in date we need to adhere to; time is of the essence.
10. Turning your dream into reality
We’ll introduce you to Absolute Homes’ Design Consultant. She’ll work with you to organise colours, fixtures and fittings, to help make sure you enjoy this part of the build process too. She is very organised and has a great eye for all the finishing touches you’ll need to choose.
11. Progress Payments
Absolute Homes conducts all business using the Master Build contract – so we must include progress payments in the Building Contract (paid by you in stages throughout the build). This also ensures you only pay for work that has been completed.
Absolute Homes will be ready with solutions and answers, right when you need them. You’ll easily be able to track how your build is progressing, and be confident that everything is going to plan.
